ANNIE is a 6.9% Cognac barrel-aged saison, aged with foraged ingredients in cognac barrels for 12 months. The story behind this beer is that when we were packaging our first Annie in late 2019 we kept some of the batch back and put it into cognac barrels: what was once quite a spicy beer has now mellowed out, taking on the cognac and oak character and bringing the plum fruit element to the fore. It makes it a perfect beer for this time of year!
